One person is dead after a motorcycle accident Thursday night.
Peoria police say a car and motorcycle collided at Sheridan and Lake around 6:15 p.m. The 20-year-old motorcyclist, Eric Herrera, was unresponsive at the scene and later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said Herrera died from multiple blunt force injuries, and was wearing a helmet when the crash happened.
There's no word regarding the condition of the car's occupants.
The accident remains under investigation.
