A Peoria woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Tazewell County.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley said 50-year-old Tammy Odom was killed in a crash on eastbound Interstate 74 between Deer Creek and Morton just before 5:15 a.m.
Odom was pronounced dead on the scene. Hanley said the woman died from multiple blunt force injuries suffered in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
