The Bradley University campus community is mourning the unexpected death of a professor.
Dr. Ed Bond, a professor of marketing and director of the Supply Chain Institute at Bradley University, died Monday at a local hospital.
Bradley University president Stephen Standifird says flags on campus will fly at half-mast for three days in Bond's honor.
"He was beloved by faculty, staff, and students. Ed believed students should have a sense of both discovery and contribution as they learn and be able to do something they couldn’t have otherwise done. He was passionate and had a zest for teaching," said Standifird in a message to the campus community.
