Peoria County is ready for the public to vote on the county's first-ever flag.
After sorting through 41 submitted designs, a committee of community members, with input from the North American Vexillological Association, narrowed it down to these three finalists.
All of the designs include symbols that are meant to be representative of Peoria County's roots in rivers and agriculture.
Peoria County will unveil the winning flag design on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
Voting continues through Oct. 2; you can vote online hereor vote in person at most Peoria area libraries and the Peoria County Courthouse.
People can learn more information about the contest, and explanations of each design from their creators, here.
