A 33-year-old Peoria man is in the Peoria County Jail after a child was shot in the leg Wednesday afternoon.
Randyn D. Duncan was found with the child in the parking lot of a vacant business in the 1000 block of N. Frink St.
The child was taken to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Officers found a gun in a vacant lot near N. Frink.
Duncan was arrested for endangering the life or health of a child and obstruction of justice after an interview at the Peoria Police Department.
