Reditus Labs CEO Aaron Rossi has made another appearance in federal court on tax fraud charges.
Rossi's legal team is requesting more information from prosecutors on the basis for the charges, including evidence supporting the government's allegations he underreported his income between 2015 and 2017.
Rossi is due in court again in Davenport, Iowa, for a pretrial conference on Aug. 23. He remains out on bond.
His lawyers indicate they will try to delay proceedings in ongoing civil cases filed against Rossi in Tazewell County pending the outcome of the federal criminal case. An attorney for litigant Davie and Associates Dermatopathology said he plans to oppose that motion if it's made.
Reditus' court-appointed receiver Adam Silverman plans to file an initial report on the company's finances and inventory this Friday.
