One dead, one injured in rollover crash near East Peoria

Authorities have identified the woman killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash near East Peoria on Monday morning.

38-year-old Heather Wagner of Mackinaw died after the vehicle rolled on Muller Road, about a mile south of Springfield Road. She was ejected from the vehicle.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says she likely died instantly from multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

A man also suffered injuries in the crash. His condition is unknown.

A 37-year-old man was able to escape the vehicle before it caught fire. He's being treated at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. The extent of his injuries aren't known.

The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office and Tazewell County Coroner's Office are investigating the traffic crash.
