A 15-year-old girl is dead after a one-vehicle crash near Bartonville.
Peoria County Sheriff's Office Captain Chris Watkins said the vehicle appeared to be going at a high rate of speed when it overturned several times in the 6700 block of Pfeiffer Road around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
The vehicle had four juvenile occupants. Mia Dusek, 15, of Bartonville, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The other three were taken to OSF Saint Francis with non life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old male driver of the vehicle was cited in the crash.
