A Galesburg woman faces attempted murder charges after a shooting early Sunday morning in rural Fulton County.
The Fulton County Sheriff's Office said a man was shot in his Avon home just before 1 a.m. Suspects fled the scene in two vehicles.
Anna Hootman, 30, was arrested in Monmouth later Sunday morning in connection with the incident.
The victim was released from a Galesburg hospital after receiving treatment for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Fulton County authorities said more charges are expected.
