The Tri-County area is adding 101 new COVID-19 cases to its overall count since the pandemic began.
That brings the total to 44,115. No additional deaths were reported Tuesday, leaving the total to date at 672.
Currently, 138 patients are being treated for COVID-19 at a Peoria-area hospital. That's down from 155 on Monday.Regionally, COVID metrics are trending in the right direction, but most of Central Illinois is still considered a coronavirus hotspot.
