On Saturday, August 8th IGNITE Peoria returns to the Peoria Civic Center. It features individual artists, a Creation Station, a fashion and a car show.
Peoria Public Radio will have a presence at the event. Come test your knowledge of your public radio station with Daryl Scott. At 11:00 a.m. Daryl Scott, co-host of Morning Edition will host “Peoria Public Radio Trivia.” He will be on stage in the Creation Station area of the Civic Center. Nathan Irwin, All Things Considered host, will be in the same location at 3:00 p.m. Nathan will interview some of the artists about their work.
After testing your knowledge of your public radio station with Daryl and observing Nathan’s interviews with the artists, stroll on by the Peoria Public Radio booth and chat with some of Peoria Public Radio’s staff and volunteers.
