A 66-year-old man is dead after a head-on collision in rural Princeville.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the crash happened just after 7:30 Sunday night on Route 91 just north of Akron Road.
Harwood says 66-year-old Robert Renken of Princeville was headed north on Route 91 when his vehicle crossed into the southbound lane for unknown reasons, striking an oncoming vehicle.
Harwood says he died instantly of injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver of the second vehicle is in stable condition at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
