How Has ACA Changed Access To Contraception In IL?

With the advent of the Affordable Care Act, and the insurance marketplace in Illinois - more contraceptives are available at no cost to women who are covered under the plans. But there is still confusion when it comes to just what methods are included. 

 A recent report co-authored by the section of Family Planning and Contraceptive Research at the University of Chicago Medicine took a look into contraceptive care for women that's covered in the state's marketplace, and made recommendations on how to make info for consumers more readily available. Lee Hasselbacher is the policy director for the research center, she joined us to discuss the report's findings:
