Nick Spitzer has a review of the latest recording from fiddle player Natalie MacMaster. There's recently been a revival in the popularity of traditional Scottish fiddle music, particularly in parts of Canada with a rich Scottish heritage. Cape Breton Island, in the easternmost part of Nova Scotia, has become a center of the revival, which is capturing new devotees...especially amongst the young.
