Patrick Buchanan spoke last night at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, California. He never used Bob Dole's name in his speech, yet he spoke of the divided Republican party needing a truce, to unite in its effort to defeat President Clinton. He also addressed how the Republican party is increasingly reflecting the ideas he espouses, even while not allowing him to speak at the convention. We hear an excerpt from his speech.
