A Brimfield High School senior is dead in what officials are deeming "a tragic accident."
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says 17-year-old Jacob Look was found unresponsive in a hot tub by his parents late Tuesday night.
Look was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in critical condition. He died just after 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Harwood says Look drowned, but further study is needed to determine if a medical event preceded his drowning.
Look was a high school basketball player at Brimfield.
