KNOXVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A school district in the central Illinois city of Knoxville is planning a ceremony to dedicate a new high school. Knoxville High School opened for teachers and students last school year. Finishing touches on the auditorium, floors and parking lot are now complete.
District 202 Superintendent Steve Wilder says people can now see the finished product. The dedication ceremony Saturday will be followed by an opportunity for the public to tour the $30 million facility. Knoxville High School Principal Chad Bahnks says one of the highlights is the school's technology improvements, which allow every student to be connected wirelessly to the Internet.
