Chicago Bulls defeat Hornets to be playoff bound

USAToday.com

The Chicago Bulls are going to the playoffs for the seventh year in a row.

The team clinched a playoff spot last night (MON) by beating the Charlotte Hornets 98 to 86.

The Bulls are starting to recover from a recent rash of injuries. Forward Taj Gibson came back on Friday after missing almost a month.

Leading scoring Jimmy Butler had his first game back last night (MON). "We got a lot to look forward to, I think keep stringing together these wins with the people we do have, and we get all of our pieces back we’re pretty hard to beat.”

Now the Bulls are just waiting on star point guard Derrick Rose. Team officials say he is making steady progress.
