AP sources: Obama nonprofit polls Chicagoans on library site

The foundation developing Barack Obama's future presidential library has commissioned polling in Chicago to determine whether residents support building it on the South Side.
It's the clearest sign to date that library likely will go to the University of Chicago.
People close to the Barack Obama Foundation say the nonprofit earlier this month enlisted a prominent pollster who worked on Obama's two presidential campaigns. The individuals aren't authorized to discuss the poll publicly and request anonymity.
The poll appear aimed at countering the vocal opposition from conservation groups that say Chicago Parks District land shouldn't be used for the library. The University of Chicago's proposal involves building on park land.
Two Chicago schools and one each in New York and Honolulu are competing. Obama will pick a winner within weeks.
