Rauner to review medical marijuana program

Governor Bruce Rauner says he'll have to review Illinois' medical marijuana program before deciding how to proceed.
The law's sponsor Tuesday said he feared it was doomed because former Governor Pat Quinn failed to approve licenses for growers and dispensers before leaving office on Monday. During the campaign, Rauner raised concerns about what he called the "secret" application process.

Rauner says he still has reservations.

"It looked like some folks had left the administration, they were playing lobbying roles, they were working with some of their friends to get some of these contracts”

On his first full day in office, Rauner wasn't willing to make a firm commitment about what he'll do next.
