The Chicago Bears are looking for a new coach and general manager. Owner George McCaskey announced the firing of head coach Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery this week:
“In the end, we didn’t win enough games and Ted and I came to the conclusion that continuing on our present course would not result in our ultimate goal to win championships. All of our decisions revolve around that goal.”
McCaskey and Bears President Ted Phillips will have the final say in picking the new coach and G-M.
