After a couple of days in Illinois' capital, Governor-elect Bruce Rauner is going to the nation's. Rauner is scheduled to meet with Illinois' Congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. Thursday.
Reporters will be allowed to take photos as the officials get started with their lunch. But after that, the bipartisan meeting is closed to the press.
The event is co-hosted by Republican U.S. Senator Mark Kirk and Democratic U.S. Senator Dick Durbin. It's the first time Rauner is meeting with delegation since his election last month.
