You’ll also hear about how Doctor Ken Fukuchi is among researchers hoping to find a treatment for Alzheimer's Disease. Fukuchi, a professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, was recently awarded a $2.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health for a five-year study with a goal of developing preventive and therapeutic solutions. Fukuchi discusses the project with WCBU reporter Joe Deacon.
