On this week’s episode, host Jenn Gordon of Arts Partners of Central Illinois is joined by director Chris Peterlin and actor Laynie Zika to talk about Corn Stock for Kids' production, Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook.
Something terrible happened to Junie B. Jones at school today! Someone stole her new furry mittens! So when Junie B. finds a wonderful pen of many colors, she should be allowed to keep it, right? Because finders keepers, losers weepers. Junie B. Jones is not a crook… or is she?
Chris Peterlin directs and Laynie Zika stars in this hilarious and heartfelt tale based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park. In this unique production, the oldest Corn Stock kids play the kindergarteners and the youngest Corn Stock kids play the grown-ups!
Performances happen at the Corn Stock Theatre Center in Upper Bradley Park now through April 24.
