A panel discussion on former House Minority Leader Bob Michel's legacy and a new book on the Peoria Republican is set for next Monday at Bradley University.
The discussion will feature Frank Mackaman and Sean Q. Kelly, the authors of Robert H. Michel: Leading the Republican House Minority. The discussion will also feature former U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.
The discussion starts at 7 p.m. in the Peplow Pavilion at the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center at Bradley. Chris Kaergard of the Peoria Journal Star will moderate.
The public is invited to attend. The event is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.
