The Tazewell County Health Department, All Our Kids, and the Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center, are teaming-up for another community health seminar.
It’s called Healthy Minds, Healthy Neighbors. The workshop Fri., May 19th, covers the topic of self-regulation in childhood development. More specifically, it's a person’s ability to control their own behavior particularly when it comes to expressing emotions in appropriate ways.
The workshop aims to show participants how to teach and support self-regulation in the classroom and home. It qualifies for professional continuing education units.
