Bob Edwards Talks With Edward Gramlich, Chairman

of the Social Security Advisory Council, about recommendations on how to keep the program solvent for the next 75 years. All three proposals involve investing Social Security funds in the stock market. Gramlich says the Social Security trust fund could run for another 35 years, but some changes should be instituted fairly soon...before the Baby Boom generation begins to retire.
