Poet Amy Gerstle

Poetry commentator Cathy Bowman talks with Noah about West Coast poet Amy Gerstler. Gerstler's latest book is called Nerve Storm , and explores themes of paranoia and despair in the modern world through her poetry. Her main focus is the realm of imagination...she positions traditional religion and poetry against the fragmented experience of the postmodern age, framing her work in ambiguous contexts, creating a new kind of testimony about life in the current, sound-bite-driven era.
