Robert talks with NPR'S Linda Gradstein about Israeli Prime Minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu's (n'tahn-YAH-hooz) first speech to the Knesset and his Cabinet choices. Netanyahu told lawmakers that security would be Israel's first concern and called on Israel's Arab neighbors to 'widen the circle of peace.' But his party's policy guidelines rule out the creation of a Palestinian state or direct land-for-peace negotiations with Syria, which wants return of the Golan Heights in exchange for any peace deal.
