Plant and butterfly art, free art projects, monarchs, and more! The conservation of America’s native prairies is critical to saving monarch butterflies, other insects, and native wildlife. Members of the Central Illinois Monarch Butterfly Task Force will be on hand with butterflies in various states (butterfly launch if mother nature cooperates), answer questions, and provide tips for helping monarchs. Peggy West, master naturalist, botanical illustrator, and master printer, will share her artwork featuring native plants and information about growing native plants.
