Sculptor and Peoria Native Jam Lovell returned to the area a few years ago with a passion for all things iron. The co-founder of Black Dog Metal Arts, joins Jenn Gordon in the studio to talk about the magic of pouring iron and the tight-knit community of iron casters from across the country joining her for Peoria’s First All-Female Run Iron Pour. Additionally, Jam is the co-curator of Fierce: Women in Iron Exhibition happening at the Prairie Center of the Arts, which will showcase iron artworks created by female identified artists from around the world.
