Film meets art in latest film series at the Peoria Riverfront Museum

On this week's episode of Out and About, WCBU's Jody Holtz sits in for Dr. Mae Gilliland Wright to talk about Frame to Frame: Film Meets Art, the Peoria Riverfront Museum’s first ever series that pairs film with art from PRM's exhibition FRESH: New Directions in Contemporary Art.

Joining her are guest curator and film scholar Carlos Valladares and Melody Konrad, the PRM’s assistant director of marketing and communications. You can see the series on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. now through August 18 at the PRM’s Giant Screen Theatre.

Valladares will be in Peoria on August 16-18 for discussion about some of the films prior to the showings. For more information, including tickets, visit the PRM's website.

Jody Holtz is WCBU's assistant program and development director, All Things Considered host, as well as the producer of WCBU’s arts and culture podcast Out and About.
