The Tazewell County Coroner's Office is identifying a rural Mapleton man killed in a crash Sunady afternoon in rural Pekin.
Coroner Charles Hanley said Dennis Speck, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene after a one-vehicle crash at Route 9 and Mennonite Church Road just after 2:30 p.m.
Speck died from multiple blunt force injuries. Toxicology testing is pending.
