Internships
Bradley University and Illinois State University students are invited to apply for internships at WCBU during the fall, spring, and/or summer terms. Some WCBU internships are paid, others are for academic credit only, and some are both. WCBU works with students individually to craft the best experience and schedule possible.
For-credit internships are typically worth 1 to 3 credit hours depending on the number of hours worked, pending academic advisor approval.

- Social Media
- Reporting
- Audio Production
- Photography
- Music Programming
- Public Relations and Development

Student Employment Opportunities
Outstanding students who successfully complete an internship with WCBU, or who otherwise have demonstrated experience, may also be considered for paid part-time employment.
Student employment at WCBU includes positions in broadcast journalism, on-air announcing, and clerical areas. Applicants must be registered for at least six hours of courses and pursuing a degree at either Bradley University or Illinois State University. Openings for student employment at WCBU are posted on the Illinois State University student employment website.
