Immigrants are increasingly making up a larger portion of the Black population in the U.S. For some African immigrants and their children, adjusting to life in America can be complicated for several reasons. Navigating identity is one of them.

Ari Snider of Maine Public brings us the perspectives of three young people who are trying to figure it out for themselves.
