Rural hospitals threatened by Medicare Advantage increases

Medicare Advantage is growing fast, and that’s a problem for rural hospitals who say the insurers who run the plans keep pay “low and slow.” The payment issues could mean some more rural hospitals could close their doors, hospital executives say.
